Itinerary: Day 1: Pick you up at Manado Airport, directly to Tangkoko. Check in at the local Homestay. Prepare your birding stuff and then we will start to explore the jungle. In this day, Sulawesi Scops-Owl is one of the highlight bird targets to photograph. Day 2-3: Breakfast at 5:30. Lilac-cheeked Kingfisher (Cittura cyanotis)

The next sunken bird you should know is the purple kingfisher kingfisher. As its name suggests, the claw bird has a distinctive feature on its cheap-colored cheeks. It has another name for lilac kingfisher in considerable size about 28 cm (28 in.).

The color of the red bill with an olive upper body. The wings are blue-black with the black front crown. It's all over the endemic sulawesi region with three different species of subspecies.

The purple kingfisher kingfisher is not the common type of bird. It usually lives in the primary region and is also a secondary altitude of about 850 to 1,000 feet [850 to 1,000 m].
