Dear family, friends and follower,

please help us to raise funds for our plastic recycling/ ecobricks project in our village Bukit Lawang, Sumatra.

In 2015, we started the CARE NOW project which aims to raise environmemtal awarness in our community through different activities and initiatives, and to actively fighting against the plastic waste pollution.

Main part of the project work has been creating and working with ecobricks in the last years. An ecobrick is a plastic bottle strongly fillled with collected, washed and dried plastic trash, so that it can be used as a building brick.
So we started rebuilding and extending a local house with these ecobricks and even build a proper new bathroom for the family.
You can see the process on the pictures in this post.

So far, we were able to recycle around 3.780kg trash!

Now for the last and biggest part of this house rebuilding project, we are kindly asking for your help please as we are running out of funds and can not cover all expenses anymore.
We would like to provide a proper and stable roof for this family and also re-build the last part of their house.
