•• babies are the future of our world ••⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
△ This counts for our human babies same as for orangutan babies. They stay with their mums until they are about 8 years old & learn everything from them - how to walk, climb, find food, build a nest, hide from rain, interact with other orangutans ...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
▻ AND how to behave when they meet humans or when they trek through their territory.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That is why it is so important that you choose a company that has strict rules for interaction with especially semi-wild orangutans. It's one of the reasons why we keep distance, don't call them and do not feed them.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
ℹ︎ In this picture you can see, that the female Orangutan is playing with her baby on the ground even while there are humas around - she only does it because she was raised by humans. For her baby it is now more than important that we keep distance from them - so that the baby doesn't learn a wrong behavior. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Why this is so important? Read in our upcoming post ⚡︎⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
