Gerokgak Dam

Gerokgrak Dam is a dam that was built quite big to overcome the water shortage around Gerokgrak villages. Because of its large size, the dam can be seen as an artificial lake. This place is a new place that has not been visited by many tourists but you can earn a very comfortable atmosphere here.

You can camp around this lake and also able to see the North Bali region from the height, including a beach from the top of this dam. The water of the dam is clean and it usually used by many local people to swim in the river stream which flows from the dam. Besides that you can do fishing or just relax from the Gerokgrak Dam.

Singsing Waterfall

Singsing waterfall located in Temukus village precisely in Lovina area, Banjar district, or 3 km from Lovina and 13 km from Singaraja. In this place there are several waterfalls but only 2 waterfalls are easy to be accessed.

To get to the first waterfall tourists can walk about 600 meters. The Location of Singsing waterfall is not far from the path where usually passed by motor cycle compared to the other waterfall place.

To reach the second waterfall tourists need to through a little steep street, but the tourist can enjoy the scenery of the second waterfall that higher than the first one. In addition, the tourist can also swim there with the bluish-colored water.

Gitgit Waterfall

About 11 kilometers from the closest city Singaraja out at the south of Singaraja, you will find the waterfall Gitgit, a well- signposted path goes 800 meters west from the main road to the touristy waterfall. Gitgit Waterfall is a waterfall which is quite famous on Bali Island for its beauty. Gitgit waterfall is a waterfall with height is about 35 meters, located in countryside with beautiful scenery and cool temperature

To reach the waterfall, you can walk through the Balinese settlements that sell various handicrafts and also some spices with the paddy field scenery right in front of their kiosk. Starts from the Balinese settlements, the tracking path has already built in order to ease the tourists to reach the waterfall. Besides that, around the Gitgit waterfall, there are two waterfalls; they are Gitgit twin waterfall, and Gitgit terraced waterfalls.

Buyan & Tamblingan Lake

Buyan and Tamblingan lakes are a twin lake, located on North Bali under the administration of Buleleng district. Those two lakes have great scenery, to get pleasure from surrounding scenery. You can use a boat that used for fishing from fishers.

With the fresh and cool air surrounding with the green-looking mountain, the trip will be so enjoyable. Around the road to Lake Buyan, you can find out some agricultural lands such as cabbage, strawberry, tomato, mustard and so on. Besides that, you can see some wild monkeys in the main road to the twin lakes.

Both lakes are surrounded by forests that are still green and natural. Those two lakeslocated 21 km from the south of Singaraja town. On that lakes, there are some lake cliffs that quite steep, and various trees such as resin makes this area around the lakes has beautiful natural scenery.

If you want to enjoy the scenery on this lake, do not come too late because the lake could be closed by fog occasionally. However this is an interesting experience. When the fog had covered the lake you will feel like being in the midst of clouds with the cool weather. Before you go home do not forget to visit and see directly various types of agriculture around the lake.

Lovina

There are no clear sources or evidence hit the name of Lovina genesis. Persuant to the reference of the children from Anak Agung Panji Tisna, the clan of famous Buleleng King that the name of Lovina is given by him which is located in Kaliasem countryside, where at the first time he build a bungalow as a resort. He said that the name of Lovina is taken away from a name of small hotel in India that is lafeina whereabouts he styed and write the book with the title of Ni Ketut Widhi. This book is tranlateted into some languages. In memory of the hotel name, hence the ownership land give the Lovina name.

But there is also other version that is Lovina name is given caused by its 2 Santen trees are planted by him and grow embracing each other. In this case Lovina is coming from Latin Language that mean is loving each other or love. Then Lovina’s name interpreted as abbreviation from Love and Ina and it is interpreted as Love to Indonesia.

Banjar Hot Spring

Banjar hot spring is a place formerly used by Japanese officers to take a rest.
However, after Japanese occupation is over, this hot spring is used again by the local people. On 1984, Dr. Ida Bagus Astawa together with many local people were built the spring until resolved as it is today.

Banjar hot spring, is managed by Yeh Panes Nirmala Foundation, that is located on Banjar village, Buleleng district about 20 kilometers from the west side of Singaraja city. To go to Banjar hot spring from parking place, it can be reached by walking on the path that is about 150 meters.
Banjar is the best hot spring on Bali now a days.

Banjar hot spring is a hot water bath consisting of 3 small pools to soak.
The Banjar hot water is estimated come from a volcano that never dries of all time. The hot water temperature at Banjar 380'C and often used for bathing or medication. The Water flowing from a height is very comfortable to use for eliminating the tired in the body due to many activities.

This hot spring is very integrated with nature, you can soak in the hot water while enjoying the nature breeze, and trees that shade in this place.
Besides that, you able to hear the river stream that cross the hot spring area.
This place is also equipped with various facilities such as restaurants, spa and massage, whirlpool bath pool and souvenir shops

Sanih water or "yeh sanih" in Balinese language, is a natural tourist attraction which is located on the Sanih village, Kubutambahan district. Sanih Water is a natural bath place that comes from a spring that is very clean and fresh.
The endless water that comes out from the spring is flowed into the pond which is directed to the sea. Thus the water contained in the pool is always renewed and keep refreshing. You can bathe in a big pond or swim in a small pond located on the beach which is overgrown with lush palm trees and other plants. According to legend this place is a bathing place for young couples.
