SINGAPORE AIRLINES TO RESTART SERVICES TO BALI

Jakarta, 28 January 2022 – Singapore Airlines (SIA) will resume daily commercial flights from Singapore to Bali from 16 February 2022.

SIA will operate the 337-seater Boeing B787-10 aircraft on this route. The Boeing 787- 10s features SIA new regional cabin products with 36 Business Class seats and 301 Economy Class seats. 

“The resumption of daily flights to Bali is part of SIA’s long-term commitment to grow
Indonesia’s tourism industry. SIA passenger network currently covers 64 destinations in 34 countries, and we will do our best to promote Indonesia. Our services to Denpasar and Jakarta, will continue to provide flexibility to our customers who wish to travel to and from Indonesia,” said Mr. Alvin Seah, General Manager Indonesia, Singapore Airlines.

SIA continues to closely monitor demand and will adjust its network regularly to match
capacity to demand. Tickets for flights between Singapore and Bali are available for sales through the various SIA’s distribution channels.

Starting 3rd December, mandatory quarantine to enter Indonesia territories has been raised from 7 days to 10 in an effort to ensure the new Omicron Covid variant does not make its way onto Indonesian shores.

The new protocols come into effect as of 3rd December and are applicable to all nationalities except for: South Africa, Botswana, Hong Kong, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambuque, Namibia, Eswatini & Lesotho nationals, which are temporarily banned from entering the country.

No end date has been specified in the announcement. As and when there are more updates, we will release the information on our social media and news channels.

Additionally, the official circular has still not been released, we will review and add additional information (if there is any) on this post description, once we have all the information.

Please remember, that during this pandemic, unexpected announcements and changes to protocols happen sporadically. We will continue to do our best to ensure credible and accurate information is shared.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION(!) Indonesia quarantine increased from 3 days to 7 days due to the new Omicron variant.

To enter the country, international travelers have to provide 👇
✔️ Full vaccination certificate in English (should be at least 14 days after the last dose)
✔️ PCR test not older than 72 hours.
✔️ eHAC QR code from Peduli Lindungi application.
⠀
All guests must take quarantine for 7x24 hours and do 2 more PCR tests. The first PCR test will be done inside the airport upon arrival and the second one in the hotel on the 6th day of your quarantine.
