Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Bali - Ijen (start 10 am from bali)
Drive long cost of west Bali stop at Rambut Siwi Temple and Medewi beach soon you will arrive at Gilimanuk harbor. One hour crossing Bali strait et availability by ferry you will reach Ketapang harbor at Banyuwangi east Java. After lunch we take you to near Kali Bendo plantation which provide you accommodation for your overnight. Spent your time in plantation after check in and rest of your day can be spent for short walking around the area. Dinner will served at the hotel.

Day 2 : Ijen trekking - Bali
Early morning weak up after breakfast depart to Ijen plateu, take about 1.5 hours to starting point. Popular by 'sulfur mountain'. An exciting trip though rubber palm tree plantations and clove gardens, leads up to the above 2.433m sea level. From there on you'll walk with the local sulfur miners straight up the mountain. Generation upon generation of local East Javanese, earned a living in harsh circumstances. From the crater rim, the view on the lake is fabulous, while deep down at the lake shore, the earth hisses and fumes. Steam evaporating from a pipe, immediately solidifies into a yellow christal. The laborers cut it loose and put large chunks into handmade baskets. Freight of 80kg is then carried by man to to a weighing station halfway down the mountain. Arrive back at starting point we take you back to Bali. Lunch at local restaurant before crossing Bali strait by ferry and arrive at your hotel staying at late evening.

AMAZING "CRATER" IJEN MOUNTAIN 1D/1N

ADVENTURE FEATURING
Many other post-caldera cones and craters are located within the caldera or along its rim. The largest concentration of post-caldera cones forms an E-W-trending zone across the southern side of the caldera. Coffee plantations cover much of the Ijen caldera floor, and tourists are drawn to its waterfalls, hot springs, and dramatic volcanic scenery
The volcanic cone of Ijen dominates the landscape at the eastern end of Java. Ijen Crater is filled by a spectacular turquoise blue lake, its surface streaked in wind-blown patterns of yellow sulfur. Kawah Ijen is the world's largest highly acidic lake and is the site of a labor-intensive sulfur mining operation in which sulfur-laden baskets are hand-carried from the crater floor.
An active vent at the edge of the lake is a source of elemental sulfur, and supports a mining operation. Escaping volcanic gasses are channeled through a network of ceramic pipes, resulting in condensation of molten sulfur. The sulfur, which is deep red in color when molten, pours slowly from the ends of these pipes and pools on the ground, turning bright yellow as it cools. The miners break the cooled material into large pieces and carry it away in baskets. Miners must carry loads, which range from 75 kilograms (170 lb) to 90 kilograms (200 lb), up 300 metres (980 ft) to the crater rim, with a gradient of 45 to 60 degrees and then 3 kilometers (miles) down the mountain for weighing. Most miners make this journey twice a day. A nearby sugar refinery pays the miners by the weight of sulfur transported; as of September 2010, the typical daily earnings were equivalent to approximately $13 US. The miners often use insufficient protection while working around the volcano and complain of numerous respiratory afflictions. There are 200 miners which extract 14 tons per day or only 20 percent of the daily continously deposit.

"Mount Agung Trekking Via Pasar Agung Temple"

Mount Agung Trekking Via Pasar Agung Temple is a 3 to 4 hours hike up to the peak of Mount Agung which time you ascend about 2,000 meters. Not so stiff as the Besakih route. The route ends about 100 meters below the actual summit, but the views are still excellent in all directions, as well as down into the actual crater. A sensible start time would be about 2:00 am, with aim of reaching the peak just before dawn.

Ijen Trekking Adventures is divided into two different types of tour packages. Please choose according to desire and the time you have.

"1 DAY 1 NIGHT BLUE FLAME IJEN VOLCANO TREKKING"

Pick up will start between 09.30pm - 10.00pm. Depart to Gilimanuk port which takes approximately 3 hours drive. Crossing will done using passenger ship (ferry) to the island of East Java (Ketapang). It took approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to arrive at the port of Ketapang, Banyuwangi. 2 hours of driving longer needed to reach the start point of trekking. Before the journey begins, guides who stood guard post will give you a small illustration of the situation in this area. It only takes about 2-3 hours to reach the Ijen crater. We can also take a closer look to the Ijen crater dropped following sulfur carrier workers. After enjoying the charm of Ijen crater, we could go back to the start point to go back to Bali. We will arrive in Bali in the afternoon or evening (Depending on the traffic condition).

It took approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to arrive at the port of Ketapang, Banyuwangi. Upon arrival in Banyuwangi (East Java), we will rest in a hotel.
