NEW ONLINE CUSTOMS DECLARATION FORM:

Do you forget to bring a pen on the plane or are too busy wrestling with the kids to fill out an immigration declaration form?

Bali Airport is going paperless and you can now lodge your customs declaration form up to 2 days prior to your flight online. Once you have filled in the form, print it off and you can scan the QR code when you get to customs in Bali.

Accordingly, for a family group, you only need one electronic customs declaration.

If you have not printed the form, at arrival, passengers can use the free "NgurahRai" Wifi without password to log in and simply present the QR code that has been declared electronically to customs officers (or present the copy of the printed form).

The electronic customs declaration at Bali helps reduce the waiting time of passengers, in an aid to bring the best experiences to tourists arriving in Bali.

🤕 You don’t want to think about the things that can go wrong on a trip, but it’s always good to be prepared in case you get sick while traveling.

💰 In Bali the hospitals follow a strict “payment first – treatments second” policy, it’s highly recommended to protect yourself from unexpected expenses.

🏍 We get asked a lot of questions about riding scooter/motorbikes in Bali and if you will be covered. You need to read the full Product Disclosure Statement of your chosen insurer, however as a general rule you will only be covered if you fulfil ALL of the following:

1. You have a current license in your home country that covers you to ride the same vehicle you are riding in Bali (so Aussie's a normal car license that covers you to ride up to scooter will NOT cover you - all bikes are bigger than this in Bali).

2. You have an INTERNATIONAL LICENSE along with a valid license in your home country (you need to get this before you go - Aussie's can get these at your local RACQ, RACV etc for around $40 AUD). You also need to carry both licenses with you at all times.

3. You are wearing a helmet, wearing a shirt and are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of any incident.

4. You are covered as a passenger if you are wearing a helmet, clothing and the rider is fully licensed.

5. Although the Police will not pull you up for having more than one passenger, your travel insurance will likely decline your claim if you are travelling with more than two on the bike.
