Ogoh-ogoh is one of the unique traditions in the Nyepi celebration in Bali, Indonesia. Ogoh-ogoh is a giant statue made of bamboo and paper, symbolizing Bhuta Kala, which is a negative force or evil spirit.

These Ogohs are usually paraded around the village on the night of Pengerupukan, the day before Nyepi Day, as a symbol of expelling negative energy and evil from the environment. After being paraded, the ogoh-ogoh are often burned as a form of purification and harmony with nature.

This tradition not only has spiritual meaning but also becomes a creative arena for the Balinese people in creating magnificent and detailed Ogohs..
