Because grow so fast ..and grow from really small seed.. just like a air soft gun bb bullet size..but growing so big so fast..that's why in many temple of Hindus in Bali.. a lot of Banyan tree was planted.. The hindu Balinese people believe this tree have a huge energy resourse that can energized the spot.. so in Bali this tree is so sacred.
