Tirta empul is built around the sacred spring at tampak siring .For more than athousand years ,balinese whose sacred spring is said to have been created by indra and to have curative properties. The tradition continues almost unchanged at the temple today .Over 1000 years old , the temple and is two bathing place have been use by the people for good health and prosperity,because of the spring water currative powers.

Gunung kawi is n 11th-centur temple and funerary complex in tampak siring north east ubud ,that is spread acrros either side of the pakerisan river. It comprises 10 rock -cut candi (shrines) that are carved into some 7-metre -highsheltered niches of the shreer cliff face . These funeral monument are thought to be dedicated to KING ANAK WUNGSU of the Udayana dynasty and his favorite queens .
