RICE PADDY/JUNGLE ECO TREKKING.

Join me on a cultural, ecological exploring trekking trip as we explore ancient hidden treasures, dense jungle and trek through amazing rice paddies in the spectacular heartland of Bali.

I will enlighten you with my knowledge of local mythology, and tell you all about the local flora. Descending through the dense jungle and crossing prestine spring-fed rivers we will enjoy the view of the Goa Garba Cave which is one of Bali's best kept secrets.

From then on we will enjoy stunning rice paddies and experience the rural balinese going through their daily chores. You will experience local harvesting rice, ploughing fields and tending lifestock.

We end our trip in Ubud for the long 7 hour walk or at a local warung for the short 4 hour version where you can enjoy some local dishes.

This tour is just not an adventure, but a cultural, ecological and learning experience designed to show visitors the Bali they want to see.

Explore the Kawah Ijen crater (2386m) with us and
experience the blue fire in the crater of this active
strato vulcano. Enjoy the view of the acid turquoise
colored lake and stunning views.

After the arrival in the village Licin around 01:00 AM
we will meet our local guide (Andi) who used to be
a sulfur miner. From there we will continu our trip by
4 wheel drive to the slope of Kawah Ijen. This will take
approximately 1 hour and we will continu to hike up
tot he crater which will take you between 1 to 1,5 hour.

Andi will share you his experience along the way
about the miners and the history of the Kawah Ijen.
And along the path you will be able to enjoy the
wonderfull blue fire and after sunrise you will be pelted
with stunning views over the lake and surounding areas.

After the desent we will enjoy some brakfast at our local
guides farm. Afterward, we will drive you home on the
same route, and you will arrive at your hotel in the late
afternoon the next day.

MT AGUNG SUNRISE TREKKING
Mount Agung stands 3142 meter above the sea level, located in the north east of Bali in the regency of Karangasem, about 2 hours from Denpasar. The starting point is at the besakih village ( Mother Temple Of Besakih). Mount Agung renowned as the lingam of almighty Shiva and praised by the balinese as the head of the Balinese island.
The trek starts at midnight, trek to the sunrise summit will take more or less six hours. First you will hike/climb through the dense jungle of Besakih and the track will change later into a steep and rocky boulder landscape.

The final hour of the climb is very intens for your body&mind. After this intens climb you will be rewarded with a stunning sunrise and some amazing views. This trip will leave you some unforgettable memories.

MOUNT AGUNG HIKING ITINERARY:
23:00 pm : Pick up at your hotel, depend on where are you stay in Bali.
00:00 am : Arrival at Besakih Temple starting point.
00:30 am : Begin our trek to the summit and sunrise point.
05:30 am : Arrival at the summit, where we witness the spectacular views and sunrise.
07:30 am : Begin our descent to finishing point of our trek.
12:00 am : Arrival at starting point and boarding car.
02:00 pm : Return arrival at your hotel.
