Today celebrates Galungan holiday. Galungan ia a Balinese holiday celebrating the victory of dharma over adharma.

In a Balinese Hindu mythology story it is told that on island of Bali there was a Giant who was very powerful and feared by all people. The Giant was named Mayadenawa. Mayadenawa forbids all Balinese Hindu communities from praying to temples to worship the Gods, because Mayadenawa wants all people to worship him. Feeling very angry at Mayadenawa's behavior, Bhatara Indra was sent to go down to the marcepade (world) to meet and finish off the Giant Mayadenawa.

Long story short Bhatara Indra met Mayadenawa then they went to war. Because of greatness and supernatural power possessed by Bhatara Indra's idea, Mayadenawa was overwhelmed by it.
