The Bali Provincial Government has confirmed that the planned mass transportation system from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to Canggu will no longer use the MRT, but will instead utilize the Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit (ART) system, or autonomous electric tram. This project will be directly funded by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), with an investment of approximately IDR 2.2 trillion.

According to Bali Governor Wayan Koster, the change in scheme was the result of discussions with PT KAI. This environmentally friendly transportation project has been designed since 2020 as a more efficient and faster alternative to improve connectivity to Bali's densely populated tourist areas.

Bandung-based band For Revenge has officially been chosen to provide the Indonesian version of the original soundtrack (OST) for the film Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The announcement was made via social media with a teaser video featuring the For Revenge logo in a spider-like style, confirming fan speculation after vocalist Boniex previously posted the phrase "I Miss You Every Brand New Day."

In Japan, the film's theme song will be performed by the band Mrs. GREEN APPLE.

Banyuwangi was spotlighted as a model for sustainable marine tourism at the ASEAN-ID Blue forum on July 17 and 18, 2026, sharing its best practices with delegates from ASEAN, the East Asia Summit, and the Pacific Islands Forum. Indonesian cuisine has once again earned international recognition. TasteAtlas has ranked Sate Padang second on its Best Meat Dishes in Asia list, placing it just behind Beyti Kebab from Türkiye.
