Seberang Kota, where some of local batik painters bring back the ancient pride of Malay Jambi kingdom, is just right in the heart of Kota Jambi across the Batanghari river. There are several batik Jambi producers located here. We’ll learn from choosing the material, combining the mixture for the “ink” and laying down the design. It really cost us our patience and perfection. Painting batik is such an art you should try!
