We left at 2.15 am from ubud.
It was a nice experience to trek in the dark. We were given torches. Its a rocky terrain. I found it a bit challenging . But fun snd worth doing it. Make sure you wear good shoes. You can twist your ankle if not.
We are given a basic breakfast. Bread and a bold egg. With a banana. Carry very light back pack.
Well worth doing this trip. Even though we did not see the sunrise due to dense fog. If you are going during the rainy season better to carry your own rain coat.
