Male Komodo dragons are generally larger, with males averaging around 3 meters (10 feet) and 70-100 kg (150-220 lbs), while females average about 1.8-2 meters (6-8 feet) and less weight. Other key differences include males having a sturdier, more muscular build, especially in the neck and shoulders for fighting, and potentially longer, thicker tails used for dominance displays. While size is the primary distinction, females also have a slimmer body shape and can reproduce asexually through parthenogenesis.
