Pink Beach (also known as Red Beach) in Komodo National Park is one of the world’s rarest natural wonders, it was even named the world’s most beautiful beach in 2025 by Explore Worldwide.

This exotic colour comes from microscopic marine organisms known as foraminifera. These organisms produce red pigments in coral reefs. When these red corals break down into microscopic fragments and mix with the white beach sand, a truly enchanting shade of pink is created.
