Kelana, meaning ‘to wander,’ is a modern adaptation of the ancient Phinisi yachts that carried exotic seasonings from Indonesia’s Spice Islands to Europe.
Wood features heavily in Kelana’s three cosy cabins, which showcase local basketry and hand-woven tribal textiles. Air conditioning and modern ensuite bathrooms come as standard. Dining areas inside and out feature rustic wooden tables and pretty sea views, with room for six to enjoy chef’s characterful plates of Western and Asian-inspired fare.
