DAY 1 → SENARU VILLAGE → SEMBALUN VILLAGE → SEMBALUN CRATER RIM
Wake up at 6 am, breakfast 6.30 am and than packing and our mountain car already to bring you to Sembalun Village (about 45 minute drive), reach here about 8 am and than registration and get your ticket entry in Rinjani Trekking Centre (RTC) and than start to hiking. For first day we will walk arround 8-9 hours (include break & lunch). And we will find any POS (shelter) where the place for break and make lunch,and we will pass wide savana.
POS 1 Sembalun (1300 m)
About 1,5 hours from sembalun village
Rest here about 10-15 minute for drink some water and your guide will serve some biscuit and soft drink. At the same time you can see and enjoy a view of the summit and wide savana.and than continue to the next pos
POS 2 Sembalun (1.500 m)
About 1 hours from Pos 1
Here is a place for make and prepare a lunch and we will stay here about 2 hours. Before lunch ready,your guide and porter served soft drink,fruit,biscuit and hot tea or coffe in the same time you see an amazing scenary of rinjani mountain and than enjoy your lunch. After lunch finish and than continue to the next pos.
POS 3 Sembalun (1.800 m)
About 1 hours from Pos 2
Take a rest here about 10 or 15 minute to get some water. And than after break,we continue to the next pos with a prolonged steep climb until creater rim.
POS 4 Cemara Seribu (2.300 m)
About 1,5 hours from Pos 3
Take a rest here about 10 or 15 minute!get some water and your guide will offer some biscuit for your energi and than continue to sembalun creater rim with a prolonged steep climb again.
Sembalun creater rim (2639 m)
About 2 hours from Pos 4
Reach on the campe site about 5 pm or 5.30 pm. Enjoy the view of crater rim, lake, summit, Sembalun village and sunset. Our porter and guide set up the tent and prepare for dinner. After dinner you can rest and preparing yourself to early wake up for the trek to the summit on the following day. Good night and have a nice dream.
DAY 2: SEMBALUN CRATER RIM → SUMMIT → LAKE AND HOT SPRING
Wake up at 2.30 am and than before we start, your guide and porter served a light breakfast as hot bread with jam or chocolate and hot tea or coffe for your energi climb to the summit. It,s time to go..!
There are 3 stage to arrive on the summit. First stage is a moderate climb with sand, little bit difficult about 1 hours climb. Second stage is easier but prolonged trek about 1,5 hours. The last stage or named letter E, here is very steep and difficult. There are many many loose stones, small rocks and gravels, as you take two steps forward and you will slip one step back, about 1 hour prolonged steep.
And congratulations….! Enjoy proud feelings of satisfaction and be amaze of sunrise view. From the summit you can see all around Lombok Island, you can see Agung Mountain Bali, Tambora Mountain Sumbawa.
After sunrise and taking picture, you have to back down to the tent for get breakfast and little rest. After breakfast and rest, we going down to the lake & hot spring. Walking time about 3 hours walk steep down trough the steep trail down to the lake,beware and extra carefully. Reach on the lake and than have a lunch with lake& volcano views. Swimming at the lake and exploring the piligrimage hot springs,fishing,dinner and over night here.
DAY 3: LAKE & HOT SPRING → SENARU CRATER RIM
Enjoy your leisure In the morning with superb nature view of Rinjani mountain, lake, volcano, original air with great breakfast and hot coffe or tea..what a perfect…! After lunch, about 11-12 am at noon, we start climb to Senaru crater rim, walking time 3 hours climb, route and trail quite top steep up and stony, we need to becarefully.
And we reach in Senaru crater rim place we called second nice view from summit, where you can enjoy the incredibel sunset over Agung Mountain Bali and smoke front out from hole of the new volcano. Your porter set up the tent and prepare for dinner. Enjoy a view,dinner and than sleep under stars.
DAY 4: SENARU CRATER RIM → SENARU VILLAGE → NEXT DESTINATION
Wake up at 6 o’clock in the morning for enjoing the sunrise over peak of Rinjani Mountain and than your guide and porter served a breakfast, hot tea, coffee or hot milk. After breakfast and than packing and than we return back down to Senaru village. Walking time about 5-6 hours (include break and lunch on the way). And reach in Senaru village, our private car already waiting for you for drop off to your next destination as gilis, Senggigi, Mataram, Kuta Lombok or airport.
