In 2002 Jeremy H. Barnes, former GM of Tasik Ria Resort and Kungkungan Bay Resort joined Safari Tours & Travel in the capacity of consultant administrator. Barnes is the founding Chairman of the North Sulawesi PATA Chapter (now North Sulawesi Tourism Organization) and still holds that volunteer position at the present time. Their combined thirty years of experience in the hospitality and service industry guarantee a successful team working for you in Manado.

Exciting news for North Sulawesi tourism!

Metland Marron Tomohon is a new 4-star resort-style hotel being developed by PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (Metland) in collaboration with the Marron development at Taman Kelong, Kakaskasen Dua, Tomohon.

Scheduled to open in the second half of 2026, the hotel is expected to become one of Tomohon's premier accommodation and event destinations. Its location offers convenient access to popular attractions, including Lake Linow, Mount Lokon, Bukit Doa, and the city's famous flower gardens.

The opening of Metland Marron Tomohon is another positive step in strengthening North Sulawesi's tourism infrastructure and enhancing Tomohon's position as one of Indonesia's leading mountain destinations.

As of 1 July 2026, Nadya Barnes Ruata has stepped down from her day-to-day role in our Reservations Team after years of dedication and outstanding service.

We sincerely thank Nadya for her professionalism, commitment, and invaluable contributions to Safari Tours & Travel. While she is no longer involved in daily reservation operations, we are pleased to share that she will continue serving as a Member of our Board of Directors.
