Stick fighting in Lombok is a traditional martial art and cultural performance known as Peresean. It is practiced by the indigenous Sasak people of Lombok and has been part of local culture for centuries.
What happens in Peresean?
Two fighters, called Pepadu, battle using:

* A shield made from buffalo or cow hide called ende
