While we went for trekking in National Park Gunung Leuser we just not only surprised by Animals, but also the giant plants in the Jungle.

This is kapok/cotton Tree. The local people call it Randu Hutan (ceiba pentandra) . And can be very big and huge with the long lifespan for hundreds year. The big tree is the place for many creatures staying. From insects, birds ever other vegetation.

Taking the clients to Berastagi to see the fruit market, this city is located in Karo Regency North Sumatra, and surrounded by two active volcanoes. Only two hours distance from Medan city.

Tangkahan has beautiful and calm river, you can explore by tubing or kayaking. It makes you amazed about how nature formed the rocks and green color.

This activity normally we do after doing trekking in the jungle.

Sumatran wagler pit viper ( Tropidolaemus wagleri) is one of snake species you can see while trekking in Bukit Lawang, this beautiful snake is venomous but it's nocturnal.

Today we saw it, and the ranger said already been there about two months.

Some people just know tangkahan is a place for Elephant Sanctuary, but it's also interesting to do trekking there and if you are lucky you will see some animals. This trip we saw orangutan more than 3. They are really the wild one.

Hola! Everyone. Trekking in Bukit Lawang is one of reccomended activity to be Done in North Sumatra. This is the great way to see many animals and natural plants in the jungle. As the tour guide, I asked one of my amazing guest who visited the jungle and giving testimony in this video.
