Good news for everyone planning to visit Mount Bromo!

Following the latest official announcement, the **Mount Bromo tourism area will reopen to visitors starting Thursday, 20 August 2026**.

After the temporary closure due to the recent wildfire situation, visitors will once again be able to enjoy the spectacular scenery of Mount Bromo.

Mount Bromo is currently temporarily closed to visitors due to the wildfire in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.

Pesona Bromo Tour will not operate tours inside the Bromo tourism area until the authorities officially confirm that the destination is safe and reopened.

Guests with upcoming Bromo bookings may contact us to discuss:

• Rescheduling the Bromo visit
• An alternative East Java itinerary
• Replacing Bromo with Ijen, Tumpak Sewu or another suitable destination
• Other options according to the booking conditions

Tours to other destinations continue subject to their respective local conditions.

For assistance, please send us your booking name and travel date through our official Messenger or WhatsApp.

Safety always comes first. We appreciate the firefighters, park officers, volunteers and local communities working to protect Mount Bromo.
