Yesterday we wrapped a full day guiding a Canadian TV5 crew through Bantar Gebang, one of Southeast Asia's largest landfills, for a documentary on waste management. Getting to that one day took eight months — TV5 first reached out in January, and most of that time went into them deciding we could actually deliver what they needed, working out scope and price before anything was signed.

Our founder Edu sat down for the interview, walked them through the site, and introduced them to a pemulung family who shared what daily life there actually looks like.

The question we kept coming back to, the one we ask ourselves before every booking: what stops this from becoming poverty tourism? No filming without consent. No treating anyone's home as a backdrop. If it's not about real understanding, we don't run it.
