Not every beach in Bali is meant to be discovered quickly.

Cemagi Beach is where things slow down.

Black sand stretching quietly along the coast,
waves rolling in without interruption,
and temples standing still against the ocean.

No crowds. No rush. No noise.

This isn’t the Bali most people post about.
But it’s the kind you remember.

The kind you feel.

If you’re looking for a different side of Bali—
more private, more grounded, more real—
this might be where it begins.

Would you choose this side of Bali,
or the one everyone else is chasing?

Tidak semua perjalanan harus jauh.

Kadang, yang paling penting
adalah kembali.

Kembali ke rumah.
Kembali ke orang-orang terdekat.
Kembali ke diri sendiri.

Di momen Idul Fitri ini,
bukan tentang ke mana kita pergi,
tapi tentang apa yang kita rasakan.

Semoga hari ini membawa kedamaian,
kehangatan, dan awal yang lebih baik,
dengan hati yang lebih tenang
dan langkah yang lebih ringan.

Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1447H.

Kalau hari ini adalah sebuah perjalanan,
apa yang paling ingin kamu temukan?

Silence is rare.

And maybe that’s why Nyepi feels different.

For one day, everything stops.
No noise. No rush. No distractions.

Just space
to pause, to reflect, and to reset.

Because sometimes, the best way to move forward
is to be still for a moment.

Wishing you a peaceful Nyepi.

If you could take one day like this anywhere in the world…
where would it be?

When Silence and Celebration Share the Same Sky

In Indonesia this year, two sacred moments arrive almost side by side.
On 19 March, Bali observes Nyepi — a day when the entire island pauses.
No flights, no traffic, no lights. Just stillness, reflection, and the sound of nature.

Just two days later, on 21 March, Muslims across the country celebrate Eid al-Fitr.

And the night in between carries its own meaning.

The evening of takbiran — when prayers and chants welcome the arrival of Eid — still takes place with adjustments, respecting the spirit of Nyepi while allowing the celebration to continue.

It’s a quiet but powerful reminder of what Indonesia is.

Different traditions.
Different ways of prayer.
Different ways of celebrating.

Yet somehow, they find space to exist side by side.

One day the island falls completely silent.
Another night echoes with gratitude and prayer.

And in between those moments, there is respect.

This is Indonesia.
Not just a destination — but a place where harmony lives in everyday life.
