Australians bemoaned the fact that we have much too many laws to follow and that the cost of living here prevented us from becoming more like Bali. Nonetheless, other participants mentioned Australian coastal towns with a "Bali atmosphere," such as Gold Coast, Cairns, and Port Douglas.
