i just went batam on 19-20 May and used the service of Andi +6281372571557 can also email him [email protected] he charged $7 per hour (min 3 hours) i only booked him to fetch us from nagoya to tua pek gong temple then to harbour bay for dinner and back to harris waterfront hotel. he is quite good as he won't talk too much or try to hard-sell to bring you to places you don't want to go. we had 7 adults and just nice for his 7 seater van.

Journey to exotic island like Batam which English isn't official language may make travelers fear about communication and planning to journey around. Where to go, what to do, when to go to, how you can get to there, what to eat, is it save to eat, where to get the perfect tour, nobody to talk to during the tour, need some more explanation of sightseeing and lots of extra questions will arise before and during your trip.
