Discovering Ulun Danu Beratan Temple — Bali’s Temple on the Lake 🌿
After exploring the rice terraces of Tegalalang and Sidemen, this time I’m taking you to a completely different side of Bali — Ulun Danu Beratan Temple in Bedugul. 🌿
Sitting beside Lake Beratan and surrounded by mountains, this is one of those places where you can simply slow down and enjoy the atmosphere.
During our visit, we explored the temple grounds, beautiful gardens, traditional Balinese statues, and the famous Meru towers. We were also lucky to see a Balinese ceremony, with people dressed in traditional clothing and the sound of gamelan playing in the background. 🙏
For me, this is one of the things I love about showing my guests around Bali — not only visiting beautiful places, but also seeing a little bit of Balinese culture and everyday life along the way.
