Tirta Gangga is a former royal palace in eastern Bali, Indonesia. Tirta Gangga literally means water from the Ganges and it is a site of some reverence for the Hindu Balinese. Tirta Gangga water palace is a maze of pools and fountains surrounded by a lush garden and stone carvings and statues. The one hectare complex was built in 1946 by the late King of Karangsem but was destroyed almost entirely by the eruption of nearby Mount Agung in 1963.

Campuhan Ridge Walk
Ubud Bali, Indonesia

The Campuhan Ridge Walk spans an approximate 9 km in total, passing over the lush valley of the Sungai Wos River. On clear mornings or afternoons, you can enjoy a breathtaking backdrop of Mount Agung and outlying small village houses girt by rice fields. Continuing north along the ridge the tall grass transforms into the paddies of the small village of Bangkiang Sidem.
