Visit Javanese highlights such as the Bogor Botanical Gardens, then enjoy a train journey with beautiful green scenery and charming villages, visit the Borobudur and Prambanan temples, take bicycle tours through the countryside amidst local activities, enjoy pedicab tours as traditional transportation in Yogyakarta, see the highest waterfall in Java, enjoy the stunning sunrise at Mount Bromo, and witness the beauty of plantations in Java. ITINERARY :
DAY 1 : JAKARTA ARRIVAL - BOGOR
Welcome to Indonesia, Arrive in Jakarta International Airport ( Soekarno Hatta ), You will be picked up by our driver, he will stand in front of arrival gate with your name on the paper, after meet & greet then he will take you to Hotel in Bogor about 2 hours drive (relax and recover after a long flight)
DAY 2 : BOGOR TOUR & RELAX
After breakfast you can relax and enjoy to see Javanese life starting in the morning, after it we will visit Kebun Raya Bogor (Bogor Botanical Gardens) On your own or with a local guide you can visit this world famous Botanical Garden with hundreds of different flowers and plant species. On the way back to the hotel we can also make a stop at the local market.
DAY 3 : BOGOR – BANDUNG
After breakfast we leave Bogor for a short trip via Puncak Pass to Bandung. We stop for lunch at Puncak Pass on the way. When we arrive in Bandung you will stay in a good middle class hotel with swimming pool.
DAY 4 : BANDUNG – YOGYAKARTA
After breakfast we take the executive class train from Bandung to Yogyakarta. A beautiful train journey along the green Javanese landscapes and through Javanese villages about 7 hours. Our driver will wait for you at the exit of the train station and will take you to your hotel in Yogyakarta. You will spend the night in a good middle class hotel with swimming pool.
DAY 5 : CYCLING CANDIREJO - BOROBUDUR TEMPLE
After breakfast you will be picked up by our driver, drive an hour to Candirejo Village near Borobudur. Borobudur is the village in central Java where the world famous Borobudur temple is located.
Together with an experienced English speaking guide we cycle in Borobudur Village. We cycle on Good bikes around the Borobudur temple, along the many green rice fields, flowing rivers and through Javanese villages,
Borobudur is surrounded by volcanoes and mountains including Mount Menoreh where we cycle down the hills along the green valleys with beautiful views over the Javanese landscape
After the Bike Tour you will be transferred to Borobudur temple to visit the largest Buddhist temple in the world. You can hire a local guide on site for a tour of the temple You can also use the free paper guides that are ready at the entrance.
After both tours then you will be taken to your hotel in Yogyakarta.
DAY 6 : BECAK TOUR - PRAMBANAN TEMPLE
In the morning after breakfast, you will be picked up by becak ( Becak is a traditional transportation with three-wheeled bicycle, two wheels in the front and one at the rear, and you sit quite uncomfortably on the padded wooden seats in the front), The city centre also has a lot to offer. By traditional bicycle taxi (Becak) you will visit the Sultan's Palace, the Water Castle, traditional markets and the busy shopping street 'Jalan Malioboro'. You can see with your own eyes how the city comes to life in the morning. After finish with the becak tour then we go to the Prambanan temple by car to enjoy the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia ( Lunch during the trip to the temple is permitted ), finish from the temple then back to the hotel for rest.
DAY 7 : YOGYAKARTA – BROMO
In early morning 05.30 we will take you to the train station to go to Surabaya by train - Upon arrival in Surabaya, you will be picked up by our driver. After the meet and greet, the driver will take you to Madakaripura Waterfall, the second highest waterfall in Indonesia. After you enjoy the waterfall, driver will take you to hotel in Bromo for overnight.
DAY 8 : BROMO – KALIBARU
In the morning at 02.30 you will be picked up by jeep in the lobby. The jeep will take you to Mount Pananjakan as the highest point at an altitude of more than 2,770 meters above sea level to enjoy the sunrise. From there you will see Mount Bromo, Mount Raung & Mount Semeru. Sunrise from this view point will be one of the most beautiful natural spectacles during your holiday on the island of Java. After this spectacle we drive by jeep across the sea of sand to the crater of the Bromo volcano. Here you can walk up the stairs to the top, from the top you will see the Bromo crater and its surroundings. Once finished you are ready for a delicious breakfast at the hotel. You still have time to clean yourself before leaving for Kalibaru.
DAY 9 : RELAX IN KALIBARU
Today there is no activity on the program. You can relax at the pool of the resort or explore the beautiful surroundings of Kalibaru on your own. Walk through the plantations of Kalibaru or take a ride on the Lory train.
This tour is to Plantation which was established in early 1900. On this tour processing of the plantation crops rubber, coffee, cocoa can be seen, but only latex processing which is possible to see all the time. Factory will be closed on Sunday and public holidays. Coffee season is on May until September.
DAY 10 : KALIBARU - KETAPANG PORT/BALI
After breakfast, the driver will take you to the port of Ketapang and put you on the ferry to Bali. The driver will say goodbye to you. The crossing to Bali takes about an hour. This is the end of this beautiful Java trip.

KALIBARU - IJEN - KETAPANG PORT
In early morning 1.30 am, we check out and drive about 2 hours to Ijen crater basecamp. From the base camp in Kawah ljen there are 2 route options, the first route you leave at 2 am ( from the hotel 11.30 pm ) with a guide heading to the Blue fire after that to ljen Crater Lake or leaving at 4 am ( from the hotel at 01.30 am ) to just go to ijen Crater Lake. a beautiful hike for over two hours enjoy beautiful views of the volcano and valley as you walk, in clear weather you can even see Bali. Don't be surprised if you meet wild monkeys and tropical birds along the way.
We will take you to Ketapang port in Banyuwangi after it, then you can take the ferry across to Bali and continue your Indonesian experience on your own, or if you want, we can join you to Bali and take you to your next destination where we will say goodbye. "The decision is yours."
