These two adorable Grandchildren of Abbeyfeale Tourist Office Volunteer Margaret Collins called in to say hello while she was on duty, and then decided to lock themselves into the old Bank Safe. Luckily for them Nana had the key and lovingly left them out after a few …. hours. 😂😇👏

Marian Harnett welcoming Nellie and Mary Harnett from New Zealand to the Abbeyfeale Tourist Office at The Old Bank on Main Street following their arrival in Abbeyfeale last week.
Their grandfather Daniel Harnett emigrated from Dromtrasna in the early 1900’s.

Entara Group who manage the The Old Bank E-Hub on Main Street have announced that they are shortly going to start developing the vacant Units at the back of the Building into small Business Units and it’ll be known as “The Sheds”
It’ll be aimed predominantly at small businesses and start ups (craft, retail, workshop, service business etc etc)

Delighted to be back for our third season.
Only opened an hour and already visitors from Australia and Brazil have been in making enquiries.
However, it’s not just for Tourists, locals who would like to come in and have a look around are also most welcome.
We’re a voluntary Group but will try to open every Mon to Sat 11:00 to 14:00 throughout the Summer.

Abbeyfeale Tourist Office opened its doors today for this year’s Summer season and is now in its third year thanks to the wonderful group of ladies who manage the Tourist Office during the months of June / July / Aug of each year.
On duty today were Eilín Harnett and Mary Nelligan who earlier this afternoon welcomed visitors from Australia and Brazil. 💚👏👏👏

It’s official, Abbeyfeale Tourist Office has just re-opened for the 2024 Summer Season in the newly rebranded “The Old Bank” building on Main Street. (formerly Workbase E-Hub)
We would also like to welcome three generations of the Irwin family from Alabama, USA, who are currently visiting Abbeyfeale on the back of an enquiry email first sent to the Tourist Office only a few months ago.
Also, a special Thank You to the 20 Volunteers who are again this year offering their time to manage the Tourist Office during June / July / Aug, with Sheila and Margaret managing opening day 2024. ❤️👏👏👏
