Coolgreany Community Alert.
For the benefit of everyone in our Community, we have put together a small team of volunteers who are more than willing to help anyone who may need Messages or Prescriptions to be picked up and delivered to their homes, or in any other way that is necessary. We are particularly willing to support our Senior Citizens or those who are living alone and cannot get out by organizing the collection of a Hot Meal in the evening. Please feel free to Contact: 087-4605166 where this support can be organised at your convenience.

COOLGREANY COM ALERT.
Due to the present state of our Country being in a semi state of lock down because of the CORONA VIRUS, our Community Alert Group are appealing to everyone to abide by the guide lines which are being announced on a daily basis. further to this we are appealing to our Community to be conscious of the necessities of our neighbours, and in particular to be on the lookout for the senior members of our community, and check by phone or otherwise if they have all the necessary items for their day to day living. By being neighbourly we can go along way to help in the control of the CORONA VIRUS disease. Please help in any way you can. Thank you.

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS. It is that time of year again when it is appropriate to wish all the member of our Local Community a very happy Christmas, and everything that is good in 2020. Do not forget to keep in mind all the Senior Members in our community who may be living alone, and would love to have someone call for a brief chat and extend good wishes for this Season of Peace and Good Will. A very HAPPY CHRISTMAS to one and all.

Tractor Car Truck Road Run.
The Local Road Run in conjunction with The Gap Club has been organised for Sunday 27th October, starting with registration at 10.30 am, in Coolgreany and moving off at 12 noon sharp. The entry Fee is €20 Per Vehicle, with the proceeds going towards the Jimmy Kinsella (Wicklow Gap) Fund. The Organising Committee are appealing for massive support for this very worthy cause. PLEASE come along to Coolgreany on the 27th Oct.

Alzheimers Coffee Morning.
A Coffee Morning in aid of the Alzheimers Society will be held in the May Byrne Community House in Coolgreany, on Friday next the 17th May from 10am till 12.30, There will also be a raffle and cake sale. Please come along and enjoy a cuppa and chat with friends and neighbours in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and support a very worthy Charity. All money raised will go to the local Alzheimers Society.

Our Local GP. Dr. Miriam Birch will deliver a talk on High Cholesterol, and its effects, in the May Byrne House on this Thursday night 25th April at 8 pm. following this Denis O’Connor from Enniscorthy will give a very interesting talk on “Family Bereavement” and the effects it can have on Bereaved Families who have lost loved ones and also their local Communities,

Vintage Club AGM. The First Annual General Meeting of our Vintage Club will take place in the Coolgreany Inn on Wednesday 12th December at 8-30 pm. Following on from our very success Vintage Day, we hope to have a good attendance, everyone welcome.
