A lovely evening is planned for Culture Night in Attymass on Friday, 18th September. 🎢
Come along to the Father Peyton Centre Ireland from 6pm for an evening of traditional music, song, stories, community and plenty of craic.

Pat Armstrong will lead the traditional music and song, with Joe Neary sharing some tall tales and stories. Musicians, singers and storytellers are all very welcome, or just come along, have a cuppa and enjoy the evening.

🏑 It’s an open house, with everyone welcome, and families especially encouraged to join us.

🎭The Ballina ONE ACT Drama Festival returns to Ballina Arts Centre from 6–8 November, celebrating its 11th year with three nights of live theatre.

Nine groups from across Ireland will compete across the Open and Confined sections, with a fantastic mix of drama, mystery, comedy and dark comedy on the programme.

The line-up includes three recent All-Ireland Final winners, along with Charlestown Drama Group, taking part in Ballina for the first time.

Friday, 6 November – 7.30pm
Saturday, 7 November – 7pm
Sunday, 8 November – 7pm

🎟️ €15 nightly | €35 season ticket for all three nights

This weekend, Twin Trees Hotel & Brusna Falls Leisure is proud to host Hustle for That Muscle - a very special fundraising weekend for four-year-old Paul Stark.

Paul is living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Although there is currently no cure, treatments and specialist support can help manage the condition. Thomas Daly and staff from Dublin City Council are leading an incredible fundraising effort, with more than 70 people taking on Croagh Patrick and six cyclists making the journey from Glasgow to Ballina.

We would love the local community to join us:

SATURDAY

From 12pm - Photos with the Sam Maguire Cup and UEFA Champions League Cup. Donations welcome.

From 3pm - Penalty shoot-out in the hotel garden. Three shots for EUR5, with a 50-inch Smart TV for the winner.

From 8pm - The Rambling String Band live in Frog's Bar, followed by the raffle draw, with the winners chosen by Paul himself.

SUNDAY

12 noon - Rangers v Celtic live in the hotel.

After the fantastic success of its first year, the Ballina Pumpkin Patch returns this October Bank Holiday Weekend – Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th & Monday 26th October.

Expect pumpkins, spooky fun, autumn magic and plenty of family memories – and this year, every child attending is guaranteed a pumpkin! πŸŽƒ

πŸ’› The 2026 event is also proud to support The Sunflower Children's Hospice , which will provide vital support for children and young adults with life-limiting illnesses and their families across eight counties along the Western Seaboard.

πŸŽ„ The Pumpkin Patch also helps support the annual Christmas lights in Ballina as part of the wider Let There Be Light – Ballina Christmas Festival.

There will also be Autism-Friendly Sessions on Saturday and Sunday mornings for families looking for a calmer experience. Ballina Autism Friendly Town

Ballina is set to celebrate its food, hospitality and Irish language this Culture Night with a unique event that will invite participants to experience the town through Gaeilge.
