Proud to support our local club, Ballinrobe GAA, as main sponsors since 2016! 🔴⚪

Our connection with the club goes beyond sponsorship, reflecting the strong community ties that make Ballinrobe such a special place. We’re delighted to continue supporting the club and wish the intermediate team the very best of luck as they prepare for Saturday’s Mayo Intermediate Football Championship Final against Davitts.
Hon the Robe! 💪

A special thank you to Ballinrobe Racecourse
As we prepare for Saturday’s Mayo Intermediate Football Championship Final against Davitts at MacHale Park, we want to say a special thank you to our great friends and main sponsors, Ballinrobe Racecourse, who have once again come up trumps for the club.
Their latest gesture is the generous sponsorship of commemorative polo shirts for our full intermediate squad to mark this very special occasion. Ballinrobe Racecourse has been our principal sponsor since 2016, and over those ten years their support has made an enormous difference to our club. From helping us develop our facilities and coaching structures to supporting our teams and players, they have been with us every step of the way.
The relationship between the Racecourse and our club goes well beyond sponsorship. Racecourse Manager John Flannelly is a key member of Ballinrobe GAA, while his son John Enda is part of our intermediate squad. Sean O’Connell of the Racecourse has a son, Cian, on the team, while Racecourse Chairman Ken Murphy’s sons, Harry and Niall, were key members of our club in previous years.
These connections reflect the close relationship between two organisations that contribute so much to the sporting and community life of Ballinrobe.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ken, John, Sean and everyone associated with Ballinrobe Racecourse for this latest contribution and for their friendship and generosity over the years.
Our intermediate footballers have earned their place in the county final, with an opportunity to bring the title back to Ballinrobe for the first time since 2002.
We are asking everyone in Ballinrobe and the surrounding areas to get behind the team. Come to Hastings Insurance MacHale Park on Saturday, wear your club colours and make your voices heard.
Let's make it a memorable day for Ballinrobe.

🏆 Western Fold wins the American Grand National! 🇺🇸

A fantastic result for Western Fold, who landed the 2025 McHale Mayo National at Ballinrobe for trainer Gordon Elliott before going on to win the Galway Plate in 2026.

He added another prestigious victory to his record on Saturday, winning the American Grand National at Far Hills Racecourse in New Jersey in a thrilling finish, beating Fil Dor by a nose.

👏 Congratulations to trainer Gordon Elliott, jockey Jack Kennedy, owner Dee L’Estrange and all the winning connections on a fantastic achievement!
