Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

Delighted to be back doing what we love to do, it's been a long time since we've been able to host guests in the Manor and the Lodge ❤️🙏💯😘

Tonight's guests are from Dublin, half of the guests are stuck in massive traffic delays on the M50 and won't arrive until 10pm, but some of them left early and beat the bank holiday traffic 👍

We even managed to get a family to mind their 2 puppies, as we can't have pets stay in the house, thanks to Fiona in Durrus for minding the 2 little doggies, just do me one favour, don't kill them or lose them over the next 3 days 😂😂😂

"Don't call the doctor, I want to fall asleep peacefully. With your hand in mine."

He told her about the past, how they met - about the first kiss.

They didn't cry, they smiled.

They didn't regret, they were grateful.

Then she said again softly: "I love you, forever". He returned her words, gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead.

She closed her eyes and fell asleep peacefully with his hand in hers.

Love is what counts, because a person comes into this world with nothing but love and leaves it again with nothing but love.

The incredible and virtually unknown view of the Bull Rock off Garinish, Beara Peninsula. Amazing, right? 😍
The Bull Rock is a natural phenomenon and is supposed to be the gateway to the underworld. In the time of the Milesians, it was known as Teach Duinn. A lighthouse is built on the rock to the rear side and still remains today.

He is 85 and insists on taking his wife’s hand everywhere they go. When I asked him why his wife kept looking away, he responded, “because she has Alzheimer's”. I then proceeded to ask him, will your wife worry if you let her go? He then replied, ′′she doesn't remember anything, she doesn't know who I am anymore, she hasn't recognized me for years.” Surprised, I said, “and you have continued to guide her every single day even though she doesn't recognize you?" The elderly man smiled and looked into my eyes and said, ′′she may not know who I am, but I know who she is, and she is the love of my life” ❤️

Paddy McCoy, an elderly Irish farmer, received a letter from the Department for Work & Pensions stating that they suspected he was not paying his employees the statutory minimum wage and they would send an inspector to interview them.
On the appointed day, the inspector turned up.
"Tell me about your staff," he asked Paddy.
"Well," said Paddy, "there's the farm hand, I pay him £240 a week, and he has a free cottage.
Then there's the housekeeper. She gets £190 a week, along with free board and lodging.
There's also the half-wit. He works a 16 hour day, does 90% of the work, earns about £25 a week along with a bottle of whisky and, as a special treat, occasionally gets to sleep with my wife."
"That's disgraceful" said the inspector, "I need to interview the half-wit."
"That'll be me then," said Paddy!

For the exhausted Mum who hides for a few minutes to cry in the bathroom...

To the Mum who didn’t get any home schooling done today because she was tired or just simply couldn’t

For the Mum hidden in the bathroom, because she needs a few minutes of tranquility while slipping tears from her eyes.

For the Mum who is so fed up that she feels she can't continue, that she would give anything for a moment of peace.

For the Mum who cries in her room for having shouted at the kids over something that makes her feel guilty

For the mum who thinks they’ve not done enough for their child today

For the Mum who desperately battles with her own mind let alone try to understand the mind of her child(dren)

For the mum who orders take out because she can’t be bothered to cook today

For the Mum who feels alone, even when she's accompanied.

You're worth a lot.
You are important.
You are enough.

This is a stage, a crazy and challenging stage for all Mums.
But in the end everything will be worth it. For now it's hard. Difficult in many and different ways for each of us. We don't always talk, but we all fight, you're not alone.
You are enough.
You give the best of you.
Those little eyes that observe you think you're perfect, they think you're more than perfect.
Those little hands that ask for your arms, they think you're the strongest and you can conquer the world.
Those little mouths eating what you cook, they think you're the best
Those little hearts looking for yours, they want nothing but you.
Because you are enough for them, you are more than enough, Mum.
You are wonderful...
