Meet Fred🪿. He lived at Baan G*i Mua, a wonderful Homestay where I had the absolute pleasure of spending a few days.

It was so lovely to meet Fred as I have Frida at home. Also a Chinese goose. Who I love dearly! Fred lost his mate a couple of months ago and since then has been seeking human company where previously he had not. ❤️

If you are ever in Lamphun or Chiang Mai and seek peace and solitude seek out Baan G*i Mua. It is a 10/10.

I have been away … pondering the next direction. For the past 4 years🤦🏼‍♀️
Time has slipped by.

Social media exhausts me. Literally exhausts me, so I have taken a colossal step back as you may have noticed. However, Beautiful Lume is still very much alive in my heart and in my head.

At its core Beautiful Lume is about helping all of us become better. And in order for me to be true to that sentiment I will be posting only when I have something I believe is of value to share with all of you. It may be sporadic and it will be mindful and intentional. My intention will be to bring beauty or value or perhaps both to your day.

After all Beautiful Lume means beautiful world, earth, people, society.

It’s been some time since I last posted. Time slips away on us … some might say “Life gets in the way.” It’s an odd phrase isn’t it? How can we consider our Life as getting in the way? I think I shall rephrase it. “I’ve been enjoying Life.” And in this enjoying there has been much joy and some sadness; and everything in between. As life is. It is not simply one thing. One emotion. One perspective. It is multi-faceted. And should be lived In Joy! As this amazing woman does. My Grandma. 93 years old. First generation Canadian born of amazing Ukrainian immigrants. Raised in a sod-roofed cabin in northern Alberta (For my fellow Canadians you can imagine how difficult that must have been). She is one of the happiest people I have yet to meet. And I am grateful for her, and her mom, and my mom, and all the mothers in my lineage that helped to shape me into the woman that I am. ❤️
