This has to be the best Spring weather ever 💚
The cottage gardens are looking superb with tulip Ballerina and the narcissus Thalia looking wonderful together with the Lunaria hitting the colour high notes. The primrose banks are looking the best they ever have, there is no better time for planning ahead 🌷

A stunning day here with the 1st February coming up, St Brigid’s Day and the 1st day of Spring in the Gaelic tradition Imbolc.
💚💚💚 Spring is here!

One of the traditions associated with celebrating the day is making St Brigid crosses, a wonderful craft activity to do with children over the weekend. The cross symbolises the coming of Spring and protection for the year ahead.
They are easy to make and can be made out of a wide variety of materials 💚

Here are a couple of easy to follow videos from Ciara at the National Botanic Gardens and from EPIC the Irish Emigration Museum, both great places to visit in Dublin at any time of year.
