Auch wenn das Wetter nicht 100%ig mitgespielt hat, so hatten wir dennoch eine super Woche 🤩 und durch den kleineren Bus konnten wir zu einigen Orten hinfahren die sonst unzugänglich gewesen wären.

We had a lovely visit at the with our german tour yesterday.
I love the history of the place; the house used to be a carpet factory (Donegal carpets; Killybegs), they used to make dolls in the building and it used to be an army barracks.
Today they make special and limited whiskey editions with the next one (called PX) coming out on the 2nd of November. The tours can also be given in the Irish language.

Due to health reasons I have decided not to do any more multiple day coach tours.
I’m finishing up on the 14th of May.
I am still available for local day tours around Inishowen and Derry and I am still driving busses.
I just can’t sit on the coach all day every day anymore.
Thank you for your understanding.

Aus gesundheitlichen Gründen habe ich beschlossen keine mehrtägigen Busreisen mehr zu begleiten. Lokale Tagestouren in Inishowen und Derry kann ich weiterhin führen.

Wir haben eine neue Statue in Buncrana, am Ufer des Lough Swilly in Donegal. Die Statue von Father Hegarty erinnert an den Geistlichen, der am Loch Swilly sein Leben verlor, als er sich während der sogenannten Penal Laws, der Zeit in der Katholizismus verboten war und Prediger gejagt worden, am Lough Swilly versteckt.
