Greencastle Royal Castle,
This royal castle guarded the entrance to Carlingford Lough in medieval times.

It is a royal castle built in the 13th century. While it dates mainly from the 13th century, it had substantial 15th- and 16th-century alterations. Visit this amazing sight on Loop of the Lough
