I have set up this page to Adverstise that Carlow AAA Historical Walking Tours has commenced trading / I'll be available to give group Historical Architectural and Artistic Appreciation Walking Tours of Carlow for the summer! The Tour will take Participants on a 1000 year journey through time / highlighting Carlow's extraordinary past from Norman Manor to Administrative Capital
of Almost all of Ireland to The Croppy Massacre - the tour will walk in the footsteps of History's greatest Knight, William Marshall, observe views seen by Jonathan Swift & George Bernard Share whilst learning that one of Ireland's greatest patriotic Families The O'Hanrahan's of 1916 and The War of Independence once had a Cork making business on a Carlow street! The tour finishes with details of how a Carlow born Trinity College Dublin polymath designed a formula which took all the fun out of hanging actually under the trap doors used to hang people in Carlow for a generation! The Tour takes between 90 mins and two hours finishing at Carlow County Museum!
