This Sunday, 20 September, join the unique TRADO European art project at the Marketyard Town Centre, Carrick-on-Shannon, from 11am–5pm.
Bring a small piece of old fabric or material and add it to the collaborative artwork. Plus, live artist performances from 2pm–4pm.

✨ Leitrim People Invited to Weave Their Hopes, Wishes and Stories into Unique European Art Project

This Sunday, 20 September, the Marketyard Town Centre in Carrick-on-Shannon will become part of a unique European cultural project. 🇮🇪🇨🇾🇱🇹🇫🇮

From 11am–5pm, come along and help Cypriot artist Dimitris Mitakos create a collaborative woven artwork using pieces of fabric, memories, wishes and stories from the local community.

🧵 Bring a small piece of old fabric, clothing or material and become part of the artwork!

There will also be live performances by international artists from 2pm–4pm.

Free and open to all ages – come along, get involved and be part of something special!

The monthly Music Café, supported by Dementia Inclusive Communities, is becoming more and more popular, with another fantastic turnout at this month’s café in Cryan's Teach Ceoil.

Role: Leitrim Volunteer Centre Manager

Leitrim Volunteer Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Centre Manager to join the team.

The purpose of this role is to promote and develop volunteering and civic participation throughout County Leitrim's communities, towns, villages, organisations, and sectors.

The Manager will establish, develop, and maintain a high-quality Volunteer Centre that effectively supports volunteers and the community and voluntary sector. The role includes responsibility for service delivery, financial management, staff leadership, governance support, and the ongoing strategic development of the Centre in partnership with the Board of Directors.
