For anyone travelling to Knock Ireland West Airport this evening… make sure to allow extra time 🛫

Please be advised of a Road Traffic accident on the N17 at the junction into Ireland West Airport. There is a traffic management system in place and if travelling to and from the airport this evening please be advised of a delay in entering and exiting the N17 at the turnoff into the airport and take extra care at the junction.

🇮🇪🇬🇧 New Travel Document Requirements for Ireland-UK Travel 🇬🇧🇮🇪

Most of us use our passports these days anyway, but just in case… some new rules from Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus has advised passengers of new travel document requirements for travel between the Republic of Ireland and the UK. From 25 February 2026, all passengers, including Irish and British nationals, will be required to present a passport or an Irish passport card for travel between the Republic of Ireland and the UK. Non-Irish and non-British nationals will be required to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) or eVisa to travel between ROI and UK.

This change does not affect travellers flying between Belfast and Britain. Photo ID requirements remain unchanged for passengers travelling on domestic routes between Belfast and Britain.
