And most important of all....it has a roof.... . 😉☘️☘️☘️☘️

They built Newgrange 500 years before the Egyptian pyramids… and somehow knew exactly where the sun would rise.

No computers.
No metal tools.
No modern engineering.

Yet every winter solstice, a beam of sunlight travels through a tiny roof-box and lights the inner chamber for 17 minutes.

That was not luck.
That was precision.

The Neolithic farmers of Ireland were not “primitive” people living in mud huts.

They were planners.
Astronomers.
Monument builders capable of organising huge communities over 5,000 years ago.

And they created something that still works perfectly today.

Even now, thousands gather at Newgrange hoping to witness the sunrise entering the chamber exactly as its builders intended.

So here’s the real question:

Were the builders of Newgrange far more advanced than we’ve been taught?

January thoughts....

There was a generation of Irish men who crossed the Atlantic to America with nothing but hope in their pockets and home in their hearts.

They came quietly. No papers. No promises. Just strong hands and tired backs. They laid the roads, hammered the rails, raised the buildings that still stand across America today. They built a country that would never fully know their names.

They were meant to go home someday.
But someday never came.

Years turned into decades. Ireland became a memory frozen in time — the last field they walked, the last pub they laughed in, the last goodbye they never knew was final. Letters stopped. Parents passed. Brothers, sisters, friends… all gone. Home changed, or maybe it stayed the same — they’ll never know.

Now they sit in bars and small rooms, staring at old pictures, wondering what life is like back home. Longing for a place that no longer exists, or no longer exists for them. Too Irish for America, too American for Ireland. Belonging nowhere, yet having given everything.

They are forgotten now.
But they should never be.

Because America’s roads, railways, and cities were built on the backs of men who sacrificed their homeland and never got it back. 🇮🇪🇺🇸

Remember them.
