The voices of Carrick-on-Suir are at the heart of Tides of Time Visitor Centre.
Over the past year, we invited the community to take part in storytelling sessions and conversations, sharing memories of the town, the river and the people who shaped this place.

These real voices, like Honora Murphy’s (nee Morrissey), now form part of our evolving “Voices of the Suir” aural archive within the interpretation.
Tides of Time is about preserving memories, stories and a sense of place for future generations.

We would love to continue collecting stories and memories from the community. If you would like to share yours, please get in touch over Instagram/Facebook or email [email protected] 🌟

A fantastic morning at our Journey of an Idea Networking Breakfast.

A huge thank you to all the local businesses who took the time to meet with students, share their journeys, and collaborate on new ideas.

Huge thank you to Laura Keane who gave a fantastic presentation on how to market their ideas.
Your openness and support made a real impact.

Thank you to Comeragh College for hosting us, and to the students and teachers from Comeragh College and Greenhill School for bringing such energy and engagement to the session.

Students connected with businesses, shared ideas, and began shaping real marketing campaigns, all with the aim of telling local stories and promoting Carrick-on-Suir.

Great momentum as we head into the final stage.
