Turas Colmcille 2026 was a very enjoyable walk with a great group, the full turas could not be done due to the wet ground conditions further along the route but that will be done again when things dry up, interested in doing the Turas then give me a message!

The weather held out for the two trips with passengers from the Nieuw Statendam which visited Killybegs today.

It was a nice trip up Sliabh Liag with John and Jean from Collardo this morning, while not as high as their mountains at home they were very impressed with the views and scenery, but who would not be its a diffrent picture every time you visit Sliabh Liag!!

Today we welcomed the first cruise ship of the season 'Spirit of Adventure" to Killybegs and to County Donegal, we travelled into The Silver Strand and made a few stops on route, we had a lovely group on the tour and I hope you enjoy the rest of the cruise.

It was a perfect morning for a hike up Sliabh Liag with Kim who's touring the Wild Atlantic Way, even got the One Mans Pass off the bucket list, the total distance was just over 15k including a few detours to get extra scenery in!

The Cnoc Unna walk is a 7k loop walk that starts in Carrick village and takes around 2 to 2.5 hours and has great views out over Donegal bay and of the surrounding parishes, the route along the walk is steeped in history.
