Did you know that Donegal has been awarded 11 Blue Flag beaches for 2026, placing 2nd to Kerry, which received 14?

A Blue Flag beach means lifeguards are present from June until the 15th September, plus all are currently wheelchair accessible (as per the DCC website).

We are surrounded by stunning beaches with Downings, Fintra and Falcarragh blue flag beaches all within a short distance of the resort.

We even built a custom boardwalk through our resort to take guests from their Lodge or Suite, right across to Tramore beach. While not a blue flag beach, it is a beautiful one to explore and enjoy a swim.
