Ardagh Lodge sleeps up to 12 people so it is ideal for families or friends who want a holiday and share the cost. The upstairs consists of 4 large bedrooms. The bedroom are the same size. The two bedrooms overlooking the lake have a King size bed in each room. The third bedroom has two single beds and the fourth upstairs bedroom has three single beds. Upstairs there is a large bathroom & toilet ov
erlooking the lake; another toilet on the other side of the landing; a shower room and an airing cupboard. Although we do not provide towels as such, there are some towels in the airing cupboard. Downstairs there is a large dining room; a sitting room with satellite TV and a study. The kitchen is large (all the main rooms are the same size) and well stocked. It has a turf fuelled range; an electric cooker, fridge, microwave and all the utensils you would expect to find in a modern kitchen. It is well stocked with plates, glasses, cutlery, pots etc. At the end of a wide hall downstairs is a toilet. Towards the back of the house downstairs and behind the kitchen is the fifth bedroom. This is a sweet, smaller bedroom with two single beds. The downstairs part of the house also boasts a study. The study has a sofa which can be converted into a double bed for two people. As is typical of a house of this period, there are fireplaces in most of the rooms, the working fire is in main living room, but shouldn't be needed in summer! . The house has modern storage heaters which keep the place toasty in winter. At the back of the house through the kitchen there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a small sailing boat - a topper - in one of the sheds which can be taken out on the lake. However, LIFEJACKETS MUST BE WORN on the lake and there are some in the house.
