It is located just 2 minutes walk above the village but yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of its surroundings. It backs onto Keel Hill, allowing our guests a choice of leisurely hill walks or sandy beaches to explore. It is an ideal location for painting, golf, hill walking, surfing, canoein

g, cycling, fishing, photography, etc., or more importantly, unwinding from the stress of every day life. We look forward to welcoming you to our home.

We had the pleasure of having Angela Lansbury staying in Achill Isle House - Bed and Breakfast in the 1990,s.
She was a delight to have in our house and made her self at home. In an interview with the Irish Independent in 2016 she said "Achill is one of my favorites. It was the first place I visited in Ireland as a child,"
"I never forgot it and I always go back. I go back to all the old haunts. I am an Irish-British actress."
She loved telling stories of her childhood visits.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
