A great day in West Cork with the wonderful Biehl family from New York City,Old head of Kinsale,Timoleague Abbey,Drombeg Stone Circle,beautiful Glandore and Clonakilty.
Just an interesting footnote while at the Old Head we met the National Geographic team who have been diving on the wreck of the Lusitania yesterday and the day before,they said it was too windy today but they hope to dive again tomorrow,while it takes only 5 mins to dive down to the wreck it takes 2 hours to surface again and for the history buffs they confirmed that there are 5 million bullets on board but said that they were not the cause of the mysterious 2nd explosion.

A really special tour today with Erin Hogan Weber and her family from St.louis Missouri,Erin is a geat great granddaughter of Cork city merchant Michael Callanan who built Callanans tower here on Tower Street in the mid 19th century,thanks to the lady at Ma dulleas pub who gave us access through her bar to get a good view of the tower,great history.
