An incredible sunset at a viewing point on a trail walk only half an hour from the Cottage and Hayloft! This can be found on the red trail of the Long Strang trail walks, map in the comments. Just another family friendly adventure to be had close by to the Cottage and Hayloft!

Well guys, our celebrity is reveled! (Wally the walrus, not Nick the Wally)
We have donated our old rib to Wally so he can have a safe haul out site, and it will travel with him to his next location as he has moved on since his last site. Hopefully he can get a bit more peace and quiet at his next stop so he can rest for his big journey home.

To all Co. Cork residents!!!

Due to a cancellation from a conscientious Dublin family respecting the travel restrictions we have availability for the May Bank Holiday weekend.
Check in anytime from today and stay up to Wednesday 05 th May. The weather is currently great and set fair for a while and of course all of West Cork is open to you.
Most restaurants are offering takeaway service so you can also enjoy the famous local cuisine as well as Skibbereen's buzzing Saturday farmers market which is bigger than ever!

We're busy using the good weather to renovate our childrens play area, featuring a new trampoline and a new feature that we will reveal at a later date 😉
